Rick Bates Senior Vice President, Coventry Health Care
In his role as Senior Vice President, Mr. Bates is responsible for identifying and developing new ancillary business opportunities for the company. He also has oversight responsibilities for the Pharmacy Division and Rental Network Division. Most recently, Mr. Bates was the Chief Marketing Officer for United Behavioral Health, the managed behavioral health care subsidiary of United Health Care, covering 43 million members nationwide, with revenue of $1.7 billion. Prior to joining United, he was a senior marketing executive with Great West Healthcare, Cigna Corporation and Oxford Health Plans. Mr. Bates graduated with a Bachelor's in Political Science from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and earned his Master's in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
George Edward Bennett Senior Vice President, First Health, Carrier/TPA Division
Vice President, Specialty Business Division, Coventry Health Care
In his role as Senior Vice President of the Carrier/TPA Division and Vice President of the Specialty Business Division for Coventry Health Care, Mr. Bennett oversees all sales, new business development and marketing for the PPO Rental products including the First Health Network. Most recently, Mr. Bennett was the Vice President, Business Development at United Behavioral Health, the managed behavioral health care subsidiary of United Health Care, covering 43 million members nationwide, with revenue of $1.7 billion. Before joining United Behavioral Health, Mr. Bennett held senior operational leadership positions in managed care companies, including over twenty years with The Traveler's Insurance Company. Mr. Bennett graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Texas Tech University.
Ronald Blaine Faulkner II Chief Operating Officer
Blaine Faulkner is responsible for carrier and
TPA group health new sales as well as maintaining
relationships with clients nationwide. During
his lengthy tenure at CCN, Mr. Faulkner held various
positions in finance and strategic planning, directing
the company through its conversion from not-for-profit
to for-profit status and its acquisition by First
Health in 2001. Mr. Faulkner has a bachelor's
degree in business administration with a concentration
in accounting from San Diego State University
and a master's in business administration from
the University of San Diego. He is a certified
public accountant licensed in California.
