Is my personal information
safe?
Your privacy matters to First Health. As you learn more
about our personalized services for plan members, you may
have questions about how we go about protecting your personal
information on the Internet.
In general, you may visit our site without revealing any
personal information. If you are a plan member, however,
you may choose to access your personal, customized information
online. The My First Health® website uses secure sockets
layer (SSL) encryption technology, the industry standard.
If your browser is set to alert you when you are about to
enter a secure site, you will see an alert box upon login.
Regardless of whether you see the alert box, your information
is still protected by SSL.
If you are the member of a plan that uses the services
of First Health, you will want to protect your password
and/or Personal Identification Number (PIN), since this
is how you access your personal information. Additionally,
remember to completely exit all the way out of My First
Health® when you have finished with your session, since
this will prevent anyone else from looking at your personal
information.

Are e-mail messages
confidential?
To protect your privacy, please do not use e-mail to communicate
information that you consider confidential. Instead, if
you are a plan member, contact First Health by telephone
using your toll-free number. If you are a guest, you will
also find useful telephone numbers included in this site.
E-mail messages sent through our public website do not
provide a means for completely secure and private communications.
Like most, if not all non-encrypted Internet e-mail communications,
your e-mail may be accessed and viewed by other Internet
users without your knowledge or permission while in transit
to First Health.
